We enjoy pizza as one of our treat meals.
Normally, we stop at Papa Murphy’s and pick up a pizza for baking and a container of cookie dough for dessert. But sometimes, I will grab up all the ingredients and make a pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple pizza for us - like I did this past weekend.
What?!? Pineapple on a pizza?
Sound insane?

Turkey Pepperoni, Turkey Sausage, and Pineapple Pizza
1 roll Wewalka Classic Pizza Family Style Crust Classic Pizza Dough, 14.1 Oz.
1 package (10 ounces) Hormel Turkey Pepperoni
1 pound ground turkey sausage, browned and drained
1 can (8 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 Tablespoon dried basil
1 Tablespoon dried oregano
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Unroll dough onto baking sheet (parchment paper is provided so pizza won’t stick to baking sheet).
Pour pizza sauce on dough and spread almost to the edges. Add cooked turkey sausage and pineapple, sprinkling across sauce. Top with pepperoni, then cheese. Mix basil and oregano together and sprinkle across the top of the pizza.
Place baking sheet on center rack of oven and bake 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool 5 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve with a side salad.
